Can I move my server config to a new bot account without losing roles?

TheaAPPjust now· confidence 0.94

Yes — export the config from Settings, then import it on the new account. Roles and channel mappings carry over automatically [1].

Beyond Answers

The Same Bot Runs Your Moderation, Tickets, and Help Center

Answering is the loudest part of the job, not all of it. Everything below is in the same install, configured from Discord or the dashboard — nothing to bolt on.

Four Layers Before a Human Looks

Discord’s native rules, then flood and scam-link heuristics, then the moderation API, then an AI pass that reads the rules you wrote. Each severity gets the action you pick.

  • /automod rules
  • log → timeout
  • exempt roles

Borderline Calls Go to Staff

Anything the classifier is unsure about lands in your log channel with Approve and Uphold buttons. Repeat offenders climb an escalation ladder you define — and can audit their own record.

  • approve / uphold
  • /standing
  • auto-slowmode

Manual Tools, One Ledger

Warn, timeout, kick, ban, softban, purge, and channel lock as slash commands. Manual actions and automatic ones share a single record, so the ladder counts both.

  • /mod warn
  • /mod purge
  • /mod lock

Tickets That Arrive Pre-Triaged

Members open a private channel from a panel. Thea answers from your docs first, tags category, urgency, and sentiment, routes to the right role — then backs off when a human replies.

  • /ticket open
  • urgency & sentiment
  • role routing

The Same Docs, Published

Turn your knowledge base into a searchable help center with collections and articles — hosted for you, or on your own domain. Discord and the web answer from one source.

  • collections & search
  • custom domain
  • content API

Announcements and a Weekly Read-Out

Queue an announcement for later from Discord or the dashboard. Each week staff get a digest of what members asked, plus the questions your docs could not answer yet.

  • /announce
  • weekly digest
  • knowledge gaps

Compliance

Enterprise-Grade Security Standards

Encrypted in Transit & at Rest

TLS everywhere; integration credentials sealed with AES-256-GCM. Your content is never used to train models

Tenant Isolation by Default

Postgres row-level security scopes every row to your server — one community can never read another’s data

Yours to Delete

Thea only reads channels you allow. Transcripts age out on schedule, and removing the bot erases everything after a 14-day grace window

What exactly is Thea?

Thea is an AI support agent for Discord communities. It reads the docs, wikis, and past answers you give it, then answers member questions in-thread with citations to the exact source — and hands off to a human whenever it is not confident. The same install also runs your AutoMod, your ticket queue, and a public help center built from those docs.

Which sources can Thea learn from?

Websites, sitemaps, markdown files, FAQs, status pages, and past forum threads, plus Notion and Zendesk on paid plans. Sources re-sync automatically when they change, so answers never drift from your docs.

What happens when Thea isn't confident?

Every draft answer is scored before posting. Below your confidence threshold, Thea stays silent or pings the right moderator with full context instead of guessing.

How does the AutoMod work — and can it act on its own?

It runs in layers: Discord’s native rules, then heuristics for floods, mass mentions, invite spam and scam links, then the moderation API, then an AI pass that judges borderline messages against the rules you wrote. You choose what each severity does, from logging only up to a timeout. Kicks and bans are only ever reachable through an escalation ladder you configure yourself, never from a single message, and everything is rate-limited so a misconfiguration cannot empty your server.

Do I still need a separate ticket bot?

No, but you can keep one. Thea opens a private channel per request from a panel, answers from your docs first, tags category, urgency, and sentiment, and routes to the right role — then steps back once a human replies. If you already run Ticket Tool or similar, point Thea at that category instead and it will answer inside those tickets.

How do I correct a wrong answer?

Fix it once from the dashboard or right in Discord. The correction becomes the verified answer from then on, and Thea cites it for future questions.

Will Thea reply to every message?

No. Thea only answers messages routed as genuine questions in the channels you allow. Chatter, memes, and off-topic messages are left alone.
